Raccoon City Down Town

The down town portion of Raccoon, where pretty much everything is, except for the living areas of the city. It's quite big, and impressive, with very large skyscrapers, and hundreds of businesses. It’s one of the many reasons Raccoon is becoming one of the fastest growing cities in the US.

Abruptly, the bus came to a halt within the CBD of what looked like a city, the sudden braking almost forcing Nova to tilt forward and smack her head against the seat in front of her.

What's going on? she thought, her fists clenched in anxiety.

Andrew felt the shift in gravity as the bus braked, and placed a hand on the seat in front of him to stop his momentum. Once the vehical came to a full stop, the Knight slid his Holotag back around his neck and stood up, gently tapping the woman sitting next to him; trying to politely get her to move.

James relaxed further as the bus pulled to a stop in front of him, the door opening on the side. Here were the former-prisoners. Where were those CIA agents? They were running the show here. He was just here to make sure they didn't fuck up in enforcement.

The Saber class stood up, sliding out of the old seat of the reinforced bus, and moved into the main aisle, getting directly off from the bus, she stopped next to her Master. She took a stand opposite of his, and looked him directly in the eye, her emotionless, serious face not giving off any hints to why.

Rexan's face hit the seat infron of him. "Yay..we're here"

Lev turned to notice a bus filled wit h some familiar faces. If you look at that..they didn't escape idiots I could put them out of there misery like a good smaratan...nah I'll just break the bus since there's nothing else to do he thought. The sith then extended his hand causing the bus to flip over.

James raised an eyebrow as the woman he met a week ago stopped right in front of him, and stared directly into his eye. "Um... hi?" He responded unsteadily.

Andrew clambered off the bus right after Johanne, noticing how she stopped by what looked like a Marine, giving him a creeper stare. The man glanced around at the skyscrapers, they were bigger than anything in D.C., but that place had been half-destroyed and crawling with Super Mutants.

Suddenly there was a loud crash behind Andrew, and he ducked, while spinning on his heel, reaching for a N99 Pistol that wasn't there. The bus seemingly flipped, and the Knight turned back around to find the source. Apparently the Marine had noticed too, and now had a MEU in his hands and was scanning the area.

Leon's head smashed off the seat infront of him, his nose cracking on impact, he could hear it as well as feel it. Apparently, he was being called forth for blame while everyone else got a free ride home free. But, that was the Kennedy luck after all.

"Get up, this is your stop," the guard grunted.

"Really? Is it Christmas already?"

"Get moving, now," the guard commanded, unshackling him from the seat.

The bus Nova was on the verge of getting out of was suddenly and violently flipped, sending her crashing into the opposite wall. Growling in pain, she stood on what was now the floor and tried to shuffle her way out of the doorway, intending on tearing to pieces whoever was the SOB who nearly killed her.

Lia was about to get off the bus when it was flipped. She bounced off one of the seats and heard over the creaking of the now overturned bus. She stood before grabbing climbing out behind Nova.

Agent George Malone watched as Lev flipped the bus before he reached for the Smith & Wesson Model 500 in the under arm holster. With the gun now in his hand, he aimed the weapon so that when he fired, it would hit Lev's left foot. He squeezed the trigger and felt the massive recoil as the .500 S&W Magnum Cartridge ejected from the weapon, the bullet hitting Lev in the foot and passing through, leaving behind the devastated chunk of flesh that had been the sith's foot.

I'll be watching you, Daryl. Don't worry.

"Now tell us more about this Kennedy guy, or I'll fill your lungs up with even more dust, kid. You don't want another four day coma, do you, kid?"

"Jesus, I just met him and chatted for a second! Then he went off to fight some huge ass monster!"

"Did I say you could speak, you little fucker?"

"Well, it was kind of implied. I generally try to answer questions that pe-"

"Did I SAY you could speak, you little fucker?"

"I was just-"

"Shut the fuck up."

"Jesus."

A whip crack rang into the air as Collins' face received the slap he may have asked for.

"Please sir, may I have another?"

Another whip crack rang.

"Does the term 'police brutality' hold any meaning for you?"

A third.

"I think I'm bleeding."

A fourth.

"Now, kiddo, here's what we're gonna do. You're going to tell me what you know about this Kennedy guy, that Lia alien chick. M'kay?"

"But if I did tell you something, it'd just be bullshit anyway!"

"Wrong answer!"

Whip crack.

"Okay, okay. I get it. And so does my face, as a matter of fact."

"Good, kiddo. Good. Now, since you don't know anything about them, apparently, you're going to learn. Good news kid, you just volunteered to do a bit of, say, undercover activity. We're sending you in to, erm, socialize with them and report back."

"So you want me to stalk them the way you stalk your ex on Facebook?"

A third voice spoke up- "Essentially, yes."

The bad cop- "Want another slap, kiddo? Because we call it recon in the military, not stalking."

Collins pointed to the third man in the bleak room, who was mostly silent, and said, "Really? He disagrees."

"I do disagree."

"No, you don't."

"Just shut up, Jim. M'kay?"

And silence ensued.

Sheppard, waiting only a block away with an SV98 fixed on the bus, called on James:

"Ainston! Status report?"

Thom, who had been watching the bus for it's entire journey, or rather sitting atop it cloaked, grew angry of the one who had caused harm to the others. In an instant, he teleported from the rooftop he had occupied. Two blue flashes later and Thom's shielded hand was pulsing with electricity, fingers closed around his neck.

"No matter how powerful you think you are, deal with them. Otherwise you can deal with me." the mage whispered in a hostile tone. He let go and disappeared with a blue flash, surrounded by purple cracks of lightning.

Lev noticed the man reaching for his gun. As he aimed the sith used the force to try and knock the gun to the side but it was to late since bullet was spiraling towards. Leviathan only made the bullet graze his arm. He blinked as the mage just appeared suddenly and disappeared. "Well this seems like I pissed everyone off except Rexan..oh well" he muttered and flicked his wrist causing everyone with in a five yard radius of the bus to remain in that spot and spin around midair for a few minutes. Lev then jumped and went through the roof of the building.

Leon was escorted off the bus on a desolate stretch of road, no other vehicles in sight, no buildings, no road signs, just empty gravel road. The guard prodded him down the stairs out into the blinding sunlight, a black car parked opposite him. He heard one of the other prisoners jeer:

"Yo, dude. They gonna rape you!"

"Shuddup."

"Seriously, man. They gonna rape his ass!"

"I said, Shuddup."

Leon stood quietly, like a good prisoner, as the guard undid the shackles on his legs, leaving him in just a pair of cuffs. Just as he was about to undo said cuffs...

"Leave 'em on. We've got things to talk about and I don't figure we need to waste anymore time here," Secret Service Jim said, dusting off his black suit as he approached, "If you'd be kind as to get in the car, Mr. Kennedy?"

Leon glanced over his shoulder at the inmates still aboard the bus, then back at the agent with the faked grin of friendliness, "I don't suppose why not."

"I assume you know what this is about, Kennedy."

"No, I don't. Enlighten me," Leon shot back, though his tone was a little grating to Hurrst's ears, causing the agent's perma-scowl to widen a bit.

"You're the wild card among them. We've got most every else's personalities hammered out. We got the innocent little alien girl who wants to get home, some stupid cunt who's willing to tell us as little as possible and divert to her 'master'," he actually did the air quotes, taking both hands fully off the wheel, something which caused some alarm for Mr. Kennedy, "on pretty much everything. Some commie-hater from the future but a fifties vibe? Hell, it doesn't make sense. But I like 'em, straight up young man. You, you're the sonofabitch I'm worried about."

Leon glanced away from the window, "You're thinking about Nova. She can reprogram nuclear missile silos in less than ten minutes. Me? Not so much."

"And where'd you get that information?"

"Turns out Wikipedia has a lot of valuable information these days if you actually look."

"Kennedy, you were taken by the US Government to undergo special training in 1998 following the Racoon City incident. You know the loopholes, you know how to get to the president, you know how to kill the president. They've given you that much knowledge, that much training-"

"So you're saying I'm not loyal to my own country?"

"You're not loyal to this country. You're loyal to Granham and his fictionalized 2004, hell, your loyalty is questionable their as well. Whoever thought it was a good idea to force you into this line of work was a idiot. You can't force this responsibility upon anyone, it'll just bite you in the ass and create some mental fuck-job who can't tell his cock from his goddamn elbow."

"So you're afraid I'll bite your ass?"

Hurrst rolled his eyes at the comment, "No. I'm afraid that letting you run free with your lunatic friends is gonna fuck over this county half-a-dozen times and I'm gonna have to come in to pick up the fucking pieces."

"Right," Leon replied, thus ending all conversation between the two.

"Racoon," Leon muttered, glancing up at the sign, tying his shoes, "Thought you said Racoon was fake."

"It was, until some stupid bitch bought all this land, renamed it and started a 'religious community', apparently zombies count as a religion in this mad world," Hurrst replied back, standing guard at the door, his hand resting inside his coat on the butt of his SIG, "Oh, and I picked this up. Figured you might like it."

Leon caught the tossed sweat shirt jacket, embossed with the logo of the RPD on the back inside it's memorable emblem and his badge number running up the sleeve, "Cute."

"Yeah, figured you'd like it," Hurrst jeered, "Com'on, let's go meet your adoring public."

"I suppose a fair introduction is in place, though I have a feeling something such as that would come later in a situation such as this. I was worried you had been attacked whilst I was gone, however, it seems you have been un injured as of yet by the others." Seeker didn't move, even when Lev used the force to try and knock her back. Gravity defiance, and all those good left overs that hadn't been taken from her.

James nodded at Johanne, not really paying attention to what she was saying. Instead scanning the area for the culprit of the bus flipping. His MEU[SOC] was out in his hand, safty off. "Yeah, right..." He mumbled to the woman standing near him, then raised a pair of fingers to his ear.

"Something just flipped the bus, and CIA Agent Bat-shit insane fired off a round into the city. I suggest deploying a team of RPD be deployed to sweep the area." James lowered his fingers from his comm, straightening out from his firing posture slightly.

Andrew shifted foot to foot, not exactly sure what to do now. He wished he had his equipment. He could kill whatever flipped the bus. The Knight had an uncanny ability of tracking down and killing things supposedly deadlier than him.

"It is understandable if this is confusing for you, but the current situation is dire. If we do not complete the summon soon, then I will grow weaker. My abilities to defend you from the other servants will diminish, and we could possibly lose the war." Johanne looked at the fallen bus, then back at her Master, not moving an inch, and keeping a neutral tone and face whilst speaking.

Finally managing to clamber out of the fallen bus and dropping to the ground after Lev's little Force hijink, Nova got up and listened in on what the others were saying; she wa ubsure as to their next course of action

Lia rubbed her wrist, still sore from having twisted it when she fell as the bus overturned. Looking back at the CIA agent that had fired his gun off into the distance at the city like a complete moron, she could see a smile on his face and twinge of something she didn't like in his eyes.

Agent Malone turned to look at the assembled men and women before him, "Hello, I am Agent Malone with the CIA. Now, will you please enter this building?" He made a motion for them to enter the mansion.

CIA? What the hell is that? Nova reflected to herself as she started towards the building this "Agent Malone" had indicated. Not exactly sure if she was walking into a trap, her eyes darted left and right in wariness, ready to spring into action if she was sold out ....

Not as if her current situation would do her any good, regardless.

Rexan walked in the building calmly . The jedi had received some scraps and bruises from the bus flipping over

Lia rubbed her wrist in an absent minded as she walked toward the mansion.

Once they were inside, Agent Malone smiled a very unsettling smile as he shut the door behind him. "Now, we are releasing you all, and we have prepared this mansion as your home for now."

Hurrst flipped open his phone, glanced down at the text message, cursed under his breath, and then snapped it closed again. He glared over at Kennedy, who continued to ride in the car silently, "Well, guess it's your lucky goddamn day, Kennedy."

Leon shook himself from his semi-trance of watching the countryside go by, "Huh?"

Hurrst grumbled more, turning the car around before continuing back the way they'd came, "We're setting you and your possible terrorist friends up in a nice fucking mansion in the wonderful fucking countryside. Got that pretty boy?"

Leon nodded, though Hurrst could swear he almost heard the man's teeth grind.

"Status?"

"We've successfully gotten through the fail-safes of his armor. They were hell to crack to say the least."

"And the subject?"

"We've stabalized him, he's been in and out of it for several days, not sure if he'll pull through."

"But his technology is still salvagable?"

"Yes, ma'am."

"Good. Keep him alive for now, question him once he comes to. Once he's lost his usefullness, dispose of him. The Director will be happy to hear of our success."

"Of course."

Puncuating the agent's remark, Nova felt someone roughly unlocking her handcuffs and blood flowing into her wrists.

Rubbing her wrists in order to stimulate bloodflow, Nova interjected to the Agent, "What about our belongings, sir? I don't know about you, but I suspect some of the equipment you or your government has comphiscated might not be safe to be cracked open."

"She does have a point. For example my weapon requires a force sensitive and extensive training to handle it properly. An idiot who picks it up will most likely cut off his own arm" Rexan stated
